Halloween is not really a Chinese or Oriental thing just like the Valentine’s Day and some other festivals. Some western festivals are very popular in China, though they are being celebrated not just for fun but commercially as well.
A few friends asked me to go out… I didn’t really want to go for some reason…I stayed home and watched TV in stead.

Today was also the end of Oct. I only did about half month of my blog. What a lazy month! What a lazy blogger!!!

Here are only some extra nice photos from the Flower Expo in this post, which I can not fit in the previous entries.
It was really nice. We would go again if it will hold in Beijing next time.
You can tell from this picture it’s been the harvest season already!

I was told those plants were alive. I thought they were dried at first. Actually not. They live without earth, but you need to water them, just spray them with a watering pot. What a new technology!

I love the following ones. We could decorate our own places similar to that or inspire by it

Well, as I said, I took too many photos. I really like them. So, two more to conclude my Flower Expo post.

As I mentioned in Part One the flower expo had two venues.
The outdoor flowers were common ones which you could see at most of the places. At the expo, it was just like a big park and the weather was great! It was really lovely to walk aroud there except too many people and you could hardly find a peaceful area.

However, there were some very strange plants which I had never seen them before. I still do not know the names. Sorry! Please educate me if you know them.
I was told that the first one was a tropical plant ant it ate insects with those strange dangling buds.
Those two are nice too, but I also do not know their names.

The fruit trees were amazing. There were lots of fruit on them. I was told they were seven or eight years old already. I was going to buy one home, but I really had a problem to take it home and I of course do not know how to look after them!
1st was apple and 2nd was Chinese crab apple tree.

The fake flowers were so colourful and beautiful. They gave me a shock.

We took too many nice photos at the expo. I should post anohter one tmr to finish it, otherwise too many pics in this post.
Hope you enjoy the nice flower photos.
