I know I have a secret from my friends that could potentially change everything, but I can't help who I like. Can I?
Choices were made out in front of me before I even realised, surely it would all be easier, surely everything would be ok even if it all changed. I knew that was only my hope talking, but I still held a little of it so close to my heart it was sometimes hard for me to see the truth.
I liked someone. Who was I kidding? I loved him. I knew in my heart I did. The problem was his 'status' in the school, I was popular. He wasn't. It was that simple.
I could either chose to be with him, and instantly lose everything I had around me, or I could ignore my feelings for him and try to bury my head in the sand.
Then there was the added complication of him acting weird, in the last few months he'd changed so much it was hard to remember who he used to be like. He was, like a shadow.
I had to find out what was going on, but how?
