Yesterday I started talking about less skilled workers in China, and what a rough deal they get.
I’ll give you an example…
A little while ago I knew a Chinese guy, well, not very well, but he seemed like a decent enough fellow. He worked in a factory as some kind of clerk. His hours were eight am to seven pm!! Days off? Er, no. No days off. NONE!
If you want a day off, you had to forfeit 100RMB from your pay. Not too bad you say? Well he only got paid 900RMB a month.
Another person worked as a cashier in a Internet cafe (or internet bar as they call them here). She at least had one day off a week, though no dorm provided of course. However, there was no contract and the internet cafe owner kept her ID card, which is illegal. Of course, no one complains because they want the work.
It’s a hard life for some.
A long overdue post on my Blog of Lies tomorrow. See you in a couple of days.

Foreigners in Beijing are payed so much higher!
yeah my friend told me that if she needs to learn driving it will cost MYR$5,000 money here. I mean to say if she learns in China, the cost is like money here.
